About Me

So here's who I'm leading you to think I am.

Wife. I married a kindred spirit in 2008 and am getting to work through the ups and downs of marriage with someone who truly understands me. If anyone claims marriage isn't work, they are either unmarried or liars. I'm just glad I really love my coworker.

Mother. In October of 2012, Graham and I welcomed our baby girl (and my mini-me), Hayley Quinn. What an amazing kid she already is. I am so lucky to be able to guide her to become the person she is destined to be. She keeps me on my toes and out of my bed. Sleep is for the non-parents of the world.

Daughter. I have a great mother who really inspires my own stab at parenthood and shapes my daily decisions.

Sister. To a brother who really is my opposite. But, we had fun growing up.

Friend. A fiercely loyal friend, at that. Perhaps too loyal at times. I've also defined this tendency as co-dependent. But, I am so blessed to have a few very amazing friends I can count on no matter what. Some new, some old, and I love them all dearly.

Christian. It means I believe in grace, flawed human life, Heaven, sin, forgiveness, the Bible, Jesus, and God. That's as much as I'm willing to define that term for now.

Cat guardian. I don't know if you can actually own a cat. They have their own personalities and demands. Basically, I've let a cat live with me for 17 years. Or, perhaps she's let me live with her.

Sadie lover. I have only loved 4 dogs in my life. My current love is Sadie. She's really Graham's dog, but I think she likes me best.

Coffee drinker. I have a baby. (Those two statement are a bit redundant). Keurig is the best (or worst?) invention for me ever.

Master of Management and Leadership. At least, that's what my degree says. I'd like to think I have a good working knowledge on the topics.

Leadership & Web Presence Consultant. I've recently transitioned from full-time employee to self-employed independent contractor. And stay-at-home mom. I love working, and I love Hayley, but I just wasn't ready to commit full-time to either decision. The balancing act begins...
